SHADOW HOUR
Courtroom Drama (4 men, 8 women, unit set)
A young woman has accused a United States senator of sexual assault. A jury of eight women and four men must decide his fate. But as they deliberate the evidence, it becomes clear that each member of the jury is interpreting what they heard in the courtroom through his or her own experience. Flashbacks to the events that lead to the trial show that the witnesses also interpret what they saw through their own experience. The truth, it seems is not black and white, but lost in shadows.

IMPRESSION: SUNRISE
Contemporary Romance (2 men, 2 women, unit set)
Terry, a fashion design student, meets Simon in the bar. He's a photographer, and she needs pictures for her portfolio. Simon walks her home, they make love and Terry becomes pregnant. Much to his own surprise, the prospect delights Simon. But when Terry is offered an internship in New York, she aborts the pregnancy without telling him. The internship turns out to be a disappointment, and Terry moves back home. She tries to renew her relationship with Simon, but as time passes, it becomes clear that Terry doesn't need Simon as much she needs forgiveness, both from Simon and herself.

THE HOURGLASS

Molly, a newly-single mother, takes a job in an all night diner to make ends meet. But the only customer is a crazy old man in the corner, and the owner is a hard bitten old crone who hopes to sell the place as soon as she can. Enter Richard, a man who can remember the future but forgets the past. He knows things about Molly's future, and desperately wants to help Molly escape her destiny. But as the night wears on he gradually forgets who she is and why he came. And it turns out the crazy old man in the corner is more than he seems at first, and knows things that he shouldn't.
